Why cash based?
We believe in answering to you - not an insurance company. Here’s how cash based PT delivers better results in fewer sessions - saving you money, time, and most importantly - suffering.
Evidence-based practice
Insurance based physical therapy’s reimbursement structure hasn’t caught up to the evidence. Dry needling remains uncovered and hands on therapy is devalued - despite the American Physical Therapy Association’s own recommendations that manual therapy and dry needling be used as a primary approach for pain management across a wide range of conditions, including plantar fasciitis, low back pain, hip arthritis and mobility restrictions, golfer’s and tennis elbow, tendon injuries, neck pain, headaches, and Achilles tendon pain. We specialize in these treatments that deliver results.
Prioritized on results and removing financial incentives
Insurance based physical therapy reimburses practices based on treatment codes - like exercise or manual therapy. As a result, practices are incentivized to perform treatments that generate more revenue - not what is best for the patient. This results in sessions that are the same exercises every visit. We remove that incentive and provide care only based on what you need.
One on one care and accountability
Due to continued reductions in insurance reimbursement, PT clinics have had to resort to double, triple, or even quadruple booking to generate more revenue at the cost of quality of care. Often, exercises designed to be skilled and require coaching may even be performed with a rehab aide. At Resolve, your treatment is always one on one with Dr. Eric Leach. We always answer to you, so our entire focus is on delivering results.
“Eric used a combination of dry needling, electrical stimulation, and hands-on assessment, and I left the session feeling noticeably better than when I arrived. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I have a clearer understanding of what’s actually going on with my body and a path forward to address it.”
