Specialized treatment designed specifically for you.
Every technique is chosen for a reason - applied with precision, tailored to you, and grounded in evidence based osteopractic principles.
Osteopractic Manual Therapy
Osteopractic manual therapy utilizes skilled hands on techniques to assess and treat the muscles, joints, connective, and nervous system tissues that are driving your pain - not just the area that hurts.
This isn’t the standard “massage for 10 minutes then stretch” approach. Osteopractic manual therapy integrates the whole body’s mechanical and neuromuscular relationships, finding the true source of your problem and addressing it directly.
Our training in manual therapy means we utilize hands on skills as a precise, targeted tool - not a generic “crack your back” approach. Every technique is chosen based on your specific presentation and goals, and it’s use is considered only following a throughout examination for safety and clinical appropriateness.
What Osteopractic Manual Therapy Includes
Hands on assessment, special testing, and differential diagnosis
Joint mobilization to manage pain and restore range of motion
Manipulative therapy to regulate pain by modulating neurophysiological mechanics
Soft tissue mobilization utilizing both instrument assisted and hands on techniques targeting dysfunctional tissues to facilitate blood flow and healing
Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques (PNF) to restore mobility and pain free movement
Dry Needling
Dry needling encompasses the insertion of needles without injectate into, alongside, or around nerves, muscles, or connective tissues for the management of pain and dysfunction in neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
Our training in dry needling covers the entire body. We are able to apply the highest level of training currently available to modulate pain.
Dry needling neither attempts to move qi along meridians nor does it rely on diagnoses from traditional Chinese or Oriental Medicine.
Thin, monofilament needles are inserted into painful, tight, or dysfunctional tissues of the body to achieve a mechanical change in the tissue
Often combined with electrical stimulation to facilitate your body’s natural healing and pain management
Mild soreness for 24-48 hours is expected
